I will be starting this new blog today but to tell you honestly I already have two: http://thebutterflies.blogdrive.com and http://onlifeandlivingit.blogspot.com. One for writing all my thoughts, views, opinions, experiences about my life and the other one about stories and anecdotes of my kids.
And this one will just be about random things I see and hear. That is why I choose the title anything under (or over) the sun. The first was already taken so I just added “or over” to mine.
So for the first article, let me tell you about “the man who farted.”

Most, Ok, in general French people will be disgusted if you “burp” in front of them but not when you “fart.” They think it’s more natural to let the gas pass through under rather than over. So there I was sitting quietly on the quay waiting for the train to arrive when this man sat beside me and started reading his newspaper. On that particular Saturday morning, there was this still silence in the air that you can’t really hear any sound. And then… Bang! It hit me! The sound that will haunt me forever….
Prrooofff….prooot…prooo…rooo…rooo…rooot!
As if I was shot right there and then with a M-15 rifle (Ok, I don’t know anything about guns so I really don’t know what type of gun resembles the sound of his… you know.)
And thinking about it, he really didn’t mind me hearing it. But I did! Oh Frenchman! Oh la la!
